🇮🇹 Un nuovo passo concreto verso una blue economy più inclusiva, innovativa e competitiva. Questa mattina, a Genova, la Presidente di WISTA Italy Costanza Musso e la Presidente di FIDAPA BPW Italy – Sezione Genova Raffaella Femia hanno siglato un protocollo d’intesa per promuovere parità di genere, sviluppo professionale e opportunità di carriera nei settori legati al mare. L’accordo prevede iniziative formative, attività di networking e azioni congiunte per sostenere la presenza femminile nei ruoli decisionali pubblici e privati della blue economy, promuovendo al contempo politiche di Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The agreement includes joint training initiatives, networking activities and actions to strengthen women’s presence in decision-making roles within the Italian blue economy, while promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion policies. 🇮🇹 Si è concluso un intenso e bellissimo weekend veneziano in occasione della nostra Assemblea Annuale, ospitata nel Circolo Ufficiali dell’Arsenale Militare di Venezia. Dopo l’assemblea, ci siamo ritrovate per la cena degli auguri, alla quale hanno partecipato socie, ospiti e rappresentanti istituzionali del territorio e del settore marittimo. Il giorno seguente abbiamo visitato l’Arsenale guidate dall’Ammiraglio Patrese, pranzato al Circolo Sottufficiali e concluso la giornata con un momento culturale al Teatro Goldoni. After the assembly, we gathered for our holiday dinner, joined by members, guests, and institutional representatives from the region and the maritime sector. The following day included a guided tour of the Arsenal with Admiral Patrese, lunch at the NCO Club, and a cultural evening at the Goldoni Theatre. The session aimed to inspire young people—especially young women—to explore the many career opportunities offered by the maritime and blue economy sectors. Key insights from the Women in Maritime Survey 2024 were also shared, highlighting the ongoing need for inclusion, training and the dismantling of gender stereotypes in the industry.
